In 2006, New National Assurance Company granted an Engineering and Guarantee license to AC&E Engineering Underwriting Managers (Pty) Ltd. to underwrite the two classes of business on behalf of New National Assurance.
New National Assurance has a global credit rating of A. As a result AC&E Engineering Underwriting Managers (Pty) Ltd., can offer you excellent paper from a well established and known company in the Market. New National Assurance was established in 1971 and is South Africa’s first short term insurance company that is 100% Black Economically Empowered. Munich Reinsurance Company of Africa Limited, is the lead re insurer on New National Assurance Company Limited’s Treaty Program.

The shareholder in AC&E Engineering Underwriting Managers (Pty) Ltd. is Anne-Marie Fourie, who started and heads up the Johannesburg office, as well as the Durban office. Our aim is also to open a branch in Cape Town as to provide a better service to our clients.
